Jazzy Tails and Yurts

As my youngest son was heading off for college, a change in lifestyle was calling. An energetic puppy and fascination with off-grid living had me researching Yurts, solar panels and outdoor showers. Three years later, the puppy is much bigger, the Yurt is finally organized and operating beyond my expectations and outdoor showers did not make the cut. Living in the Pacific Northwest, where green is all we know and mountains tempt from every direction, the outdoor life welcomes me with open arms and unbelievable opportunities for balance. Wisdom and healing are offered free of charge when I bring a heart of gratitude and quiet mind.

As nature and I deepen our connection, the "downloads" I receive need someplace to go, so I write. The more I write, the more I listen, the more I hear, the more I write. "Today From The Trail" was born and the thoughts, stories and insights are too wonderful to keep to myself. They are a gift and must be shared.

The inspirations are simple, nothing complicated. They prompt thought and movement and sometimes changes in direction along this journey of life. Mostly, they make me happy and remind me of the glory of this Universe and the connection we all have to each other, our planet, the stars, Source, God. I am reminded to breath, move, listen and share the love.

Jazzy's tail continues to wag on the trail, each outing. She seems to be smiling and it's contagious. I wish her simple joy for every moment could be bottled and offered to all. I slow down and drink in the beauty that surrounds and welcomes us. You are welcome on this trail, too. We all are invited to lean into the Divine and deeply feel the overwhelming love. You are loved, you are never alone and the trail helps us remember and find the balance. Welcome to the trail.
